About this website

I was a professional web developer from the mid-90s to early 2010s. I had a non-tech career before that. I'm currently a Product Innovation Manager in the FinTech industry.

A wave of nostalgia recently washed over me and I wanted to re-experience the times before the web was commercially saturated, and dominated by privacy-abusers like Google and Facebook.

A time when it was easy, and normal, to grab a free piece of 'cyberspace', publish your thoughts on a bare-bones website, and delight in corresponding by email with folks that wanted to discuss what you'd written.

It’s nice to see there's still a community that share these values in 2023. This is my small contribution.
