How I want to spend my time in 2026

Now that winter is on its way out I’m thinking about what I want to do with my time this year.

✅ Do more:

  • Woodworking, especially small scale toys and automata
  • Cycle touring
  • Reading
  • Photography
  • Guitar practice

✅ Continue with:

  • Same amount of campervan tours
  • Same amount of music concerts
  • Saving for retirement in 2031, if not earlier 

⚠️ Do less:

  • Mucking about on computers with notes and home-grown web publishing systems
  • Watching TV
  • Worrying about work, working long hours
  • Persevering reading books that lose my interest before the end. Just stop reading and pick up a better book.
